Jrue Holiday is an American professional basketball player born on June 12, 1990, in Chatsworth, California. He played college basketball at UCLA for one season before being selected 17th overall in the 2009 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers.
Holiday is known for his elite defense, high basketball IQ, and unselfish play. He later played for the New Orleans Pelicans, becoming an All-Star and one of the league's top two-way guards. In 2020, he was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks, where he played a key role in their 2021 NBA Championship run.
In 2023, he was traded to the Boston Celtics, continuing to be a defensive anchor and veteran leader. Off the court, Jrue is also known for his philanthropy and strong family values.
